Volunteers will make visits, phone calls, and send cards to terminally ill patients and their families-- in their homes, in extended care facilities, in the hospital. No hands on care, you are there to listen, give support to these individuals. Training is offered and required. Community Home Health Service covers 13 counties. Training is available in your geographic location and the volunteer opportunity will vary in a 20 mile radius of your home.
