If you are an individual who likes meeting people, reviewing details for events, producing press releases, fliers, and public speaking we have a position for you.
Experience with event planning is helpful, and important in working with corporate sponsors. Come ready to have fun and create a buzz with area companies to recruit teams to participate in the 27th annual Party in the Alley Bowl A Thon. This event takes place February 18,19,25 and 26.
This position requires 5-15 hours a week and is seasonal.

Junior Achievement’s mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed. The inspiration piece comes from community volunteers who not only deliver our lessons, but share their experience. In the process, these volunteers serve as role models helping to positively impact young people’s perceptions about the importance of education, as well as critical life skills. Preparation involves our proven lessons that promote financial capability, work and career readiness, and business ownership.
Description
Junior Achievement of Southwest Virginia provides several ways that you can get involved whether you’re someone looking to volunteer, part of a district or school looking for educational materials, part of a business looking to help us expand the reach of our mission.
We are seeking volunteers to help instruct at all age groups (K-12), as well as advocate for our mission.
