Get involved with local community radio at KYRS! Compile and edit our newsletter.
Thin Air Community Radio is a moving force in Spokane and online. Consider joining an eclectic and progressive staff to promote community radio in Spokane. Highlight station events, new programs, great volunteers and station news. Get valuable experience in local media.
The KYRS newsletter is issued monthly. You will collect information from programmers, staff and the station manager to compile the newsletter. Very easy software to use for newsletter creation, we use Mailchimp.
Support local independent media as a key member of the Thin Air Community Radio team.

Mission Statement
KYRS Thin Air Community Radio fills needs that other media do not, providing programming to diverse communities and unserved or underserved groups. Thin Air Radio provides a forum for neglected perspectives and discussions on important local, national and global issues, reflecting values of peace, social, economic and environmental justice, human rights, democracy, multiculturalism, freedom of expression and social change. Thin Air's arts, cultural, and music programming covers a wide spectrum of expression from traditional to experimental and reflects the diverse cultures Thin Air serves. Thin Air Radio strives for spontaneity and program excellence, both in content and technique.
Description
Thin Air Community Radio is run almost entirely by volunteers from the community, people like you who have a passion for independent music and ideas. All locally produced programs are hosted by volunteers.
