Volunteer will assist Bereavement Coordinator with cards, phone calls to hospice families dealing with grief. Volunteers may also participate in various aspects of memorial services, from invitations & programs to refreshments.
Bereavement volunteers help keep the department 'compliant' by sending cards, newsletters and other information to bereaved families on a schedule prescribed by Medicare.
Volunteering 2-4 hours a week will make a big difference :-)
