Position
LEAP for Education is currently seeking a volunteer Assistant Data Analyst to support our Budget and Data Coordinator in the compilation of student information (demographics, attendance, hours, and pre- and post-survey data). Assistant must have a thorough knowledge of Excel (Microsoft Access desired as well, but not required), be detail-oriented, strive for accuracy, and be trustworthy with confidential information. In addition, assistant must have a passion for data and the story it tells. Hours are flexible and can be coordinated with Budget and Data Coordinator, estimated 3 hours/ week.

We do this by teaching students academic and life-skills needed to perform at higher levels in middle school and high school. Students also receive ongoing personalized support and community connections which helps them graduate from college and create a future based on their strengths and interests.
Description
LEAP for Education is the first North Shore organization of its kind to empower first-generation-to-college and underserved youth to graduate from college and succeed in education and life regardless of ethnicity or gender. We deliver a portfolio of innovative, academic, life skills, career and college success programs for middle school, high school and college students creating a lasting impact in our youth, their families and communities.
LEAP has a variety of volunteer opportunities, ranging from one-time service to longer-term commitments. We believe that all supporters are vital to the organization’s mission, and engagement helps students find success and build a stronger community.
