The International Adoption Interns will assist the International Adoption Department with a variety of tasks relating to specific country needs. These could include obtaining adoption stories through various media; photos, videos & audio; preparing Powerpoint, web & audio presentations for families; assisting with information sessions, dossier preparation, travel orientation; help create, edit, copy & send newsletters, CDs, DVDs and publications; assisting with copying, filing, organizing. Duties and responsibilities will be expanded commensurate with the number of hours per week, length of time of the internship, and individual skills and experience.

• organizing: Qualifications: Familiarity with web sites, basic office equipment, and competence in Word & other Microsoft computer programs; attention to detail; willingness to learn and understand issues experienced by all members of the adoption triad; excellent interpersonal skills; good organizational, oral & written communication skills. Good compatibility with the following degree programs: * Videography/desktop publishing/marketing * Family Social Science or related, International studies, paralegal * Some Psychology & Social Work - limited requirements.
