Our classes are growing, so we are looking for new people. Our Program's name is RENEW Family Literacy. We focus on refugee and immigrant services. We are experiencing growth right now and are looking for a few more people to help out. We are very laid back and well supplied. As a teacher you would have structure and materials available to you for teaching, but at the same time we encourage you to make the class your own. You'd be teaching a 1 on 1 to 1 on 4 ratio. This will allow you to establish a personal connection with your student.
We highly recommend anyone with teaching, tutoring, or a second language knowledge to apply. Classes are fun, rewarding, and low stress. Your fellow teachers and friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

RENEW Family Literacy seeks to build literacy among refugees In Des Moines. Here at Plymouth UCC we focus on small group or 1 on 1 teaching. We use nationally accredited material during class instruction. Our mission is to strengthen the community while improving the lives of our refugee population.
