CRC Web/Social Media Volunteer
Voluntary
Assist staff in promoting CRC’s programs and services through CRC website, e-newsletters, and social media. Volunteer reports to the Marketing and Special Events Manager.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Assist in CRC’s communications efforts with participants, donors and community members.
- Develop blog posts for CRC’s programs and services related to the prevention of homelessness, hunger and domestic violence and in the areas of counseling and case management.
- Post to CRC’s social media platforms (following Communications schedule) and seek further social media exposure with local organizations and businesses to expand our reach.
- Assist with Google AdWords and Facebook advertising for CRC Resale Stores.
- Assist with CRC’s bi-weekly e-newsletter and other email communications.
- Take photos or video as needed of CRC programs and services and success stories.
Skills:
- Social media experience in Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
- Blogging or writing experience
- Experience with Wordpress or similar website content management system
