ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:

SCORE is a non-profit national organization with over 50 years serving our communities. We offer free advice and mentoring to small business entrepreneurs. We are a nonprofit resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). We have over 300 SCORE offices across the country.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Miami Chapter is in the midst of an organizational transformation with the sole intention of empowering the volunteer workforce, repositioning our Chapter within the community, and strengthening our partnerships and relationships for better collaboration.

We are strengthening our Marketing Committee, which will assist with:

-developing a marketing strategy including traditional and digital marketing initiatives

-implement and manage all marketing initiatives

-maintain presence in social media channels promoting our Chapter services, workshops, initiatives, etc.

-develop relationships that can support the marketing strategies

-support the Membership Committee with marketing actions such as internal newsletter, volunteer engagement, and so on

-support the Workshop Committee with marketing actions such as workshop advertising, attracting workshops attendees, gathering feedback, and so on

-plan Chapter events and meetings

We are seeking an experienced Marketing professional who can lead these initiatives and assume the role of Marketing Chair.

We are seeking other volunteers with relevant background that can assist with the implementation as Committee Members and support the daily activities.

We are very appreciative of the work of our volunteers and the time they donate and invest in our organization and community. To make our organization successful, we do ask that all volunteers can at least invest 10-12 hours a month.

We are seeking volunteers that can be present in the Miami Dade area, and preferably retired professional to allow for availability during the day.
