Whether it's handing out water, assisting with check-in, revving up the crowd at the finish festival, our volunteers are indispensable. Become the newest member of The Candy Run family by signing up to volunteer in one of our many cities. You'll forever be a hero! A portion of the proceeds goes towards a Fundraiser for River Parks Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit.

Mission Statement

To maintain, preserve, develop, and promote the Arkansas River and adjacent land areas under the Authority’s jurisdiction within Tulsa County for the economic and cultural benefit of the community. Vision Statement: To be the region’s premier park, recreation and entertainment destination.

Description

Offering the best in outdoor recreation, River Parks’ 26 miles of asphalt-surfaced trails weave past gathering areas, playgrounds, fountains and sculptures along the banks of the Arkansas River in Tulsa. Additionally, River Parks owns and leases hundreds of acres reserved for wildlife habitation and land preservation. River Parks also controls the water levels of portions of the Arkansas River using the gates of the Zink Dam.
