The Center for Safety and Healing at Nationwide Children's Hospital fully addresses all aspects of family violence including child abuse and neglect, teen dating abuse, domestic violence and elder abuse.
Behavior Health offers a 14-week evening group for parents. Staff is looking for 2-3 volunteers to assist in providing safe and appropriate supportive activities for children while caregivers attend the group event. Volunteers will engage children, ages pre-school to early school age, and model appropriate behaviors. Weekly attendance is very important. Group will repeat again in the spring.
Weekly, Tuesdays, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sept 11-Dec 11.
Background check, TB test, immunization records, and orientation must be completed prior to first week.
Great for college students or working adults.
