Tumbleweed is looking for volunteers who can help inventory, sort, and pack clothing and household items to be delivered to their offices on Van Buren. By volunteering, you are helping youth and young adults who in need of clothing, shoes, food and hygiene items. The goal is to provide seamless services to clients during the transition to a new location. For more information, contact Robin at 602-274-9904, Ext. 1107. Afternoon hours are available too.

Description
Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development is a private, nonprofit agency founded in 1972 by Soroptimist International of Phoenix to provide emergency shelter and services for runaway and homeless youth. The mission of Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development is to provide a safe space for collaborating with youth and young adults in our community who are vulnerable or experiencing homelessness. These safe spaces will allow access to caring relationships, resources, and programs that offer opportunities for young people to develop their individual potential
Population served: Homeless, abused, abandoned, neglected and at-risk youth ages 12-25 residing in Maricopa County.
