Come on out on Sunday, June 3, 2018 to the University of Rhode Island!

Whatever your reason, we would love for you to become part of this dynamic, passionate and fun group of people that volunteer together at this event.

We have many Volunteer positions available and multiple shifts for each are to choose from:

  • Event Set up
  • Route Signage
  • Registration
  • Volunteer Check-in
  • SAG (Support And Gear) Vehicle Driver or Assistance
  • Medical Support
  • Rest Stop Volunteer
  • Road Marshall (Stationary at high traffic intersections)
  • Route Marshall

  • Traffic Control
  • Start/Finish line cheer teams
  • Active Kids’ Area
  • Lunch Tent

The American Diabetes Association is the nation's leading 501(C)3 nonprofit health organization providing diabetes research, information and advocacy. Founded in 1940, the American Diabetes Association conducts programs in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, reaching hundreds of communities.

To fulfill our mission, the American Diabetes Association funds research, publishes scientific findings, provides information and other services to people with diabetes, their families, health professionals and the public. The Association is also actively involved in advocating for scientific research and for the rights of people with diabetes.
