The American Cancer Society Celebration of HOPE is looking for some passionate individuals who are united against all cancers and determined to free the world from the pain and suffering of the disease!

Throughout the calendar year this group will be responsible for planning community fundraisers to benefit the Celebration of HOPE! All money raised through these efforts will support the American Cancer Society programs, services, research and more!

Committee will come together on a regular basis to plan and execute their events.

NETWORKING.

Through this endeavor you will get to support and work with your local community, build friendships and business relationships, learn new skills and most importantly make a difference in cancer!

RESPONSIBILITIES.

Create, plan & execute event and report successes. The group will decide upon which community fundraisers they will host. Develop a plan to carryout the plan, execute the event, and share the successes with the Celebration of HOPE team. Attend meetings as scheduled, work as a team, plan to attend and/or participate in the events planned.

ROLES.

Chairperson - oversee the committee and campaigns, keeping everyone on track. Key point of contact for committee members and liaise with Celebration of HOPE.

Community - gain local support of the event(s); community, faith-based, schools, worksite and sponsorship/underwriting

Experience - responsible for the delivery of the elements of the event that have impact.

Production - ensures the event happens and keeping it running smoothly thoughout the end.
