ORGANIZATION: VNA of Manchester and Southern New Hampshire

Hospice Volunteers play an indispensable role with patients with life-threatening illnesses, providing companionship, support, and respite for families. Volunteers become part of a team effort, which includes physicians, nurses, social workers, clergy and other professionals. Interested individuals, who embrace the caring philosophy when assisting people with life-threatening illness, are encouraged to explore Hospice Volunteering.

Training will be held on Wednesdays

March 8, 15, 22, 29 April 5, 26 and May 3,10, 2017

(No class on Wednesday April 12th and 19th)

1:00pm to 3:30pm

Description

Since 1897, we have helped the residents of the greater Manchester community face the challenges of recovering from surgery, physical disabilities, short-term, chronic or life-limiting illnesses and enjoy a quality of life while maintaining their dignity, all in the comfort of home.
