Scope of Work:

The Paint Evaluator will operate under the guidance of the Paint The Town (tm) Event Manager and the Paint The Town (tm) Committee to visit the homes of potential candidates and make recommendations about their paint and repair needs.

Home Visits

• Coordinate with the Committee to attend home visits of potential Paint The Town (tm) candidates, mostly in the month of April 2016
• Maintain courteous and professional manner, representing Paint The Town (tm) and NeighborWorks Boise

Paint Evaluation

• Estimate and note the number of gallons needed for each home, including primer, base and trim
• Determine and note prepping needs for each project to be completed prior to painting
• Recommend colors to the homeowner from a pre-determined color palette and help them decide on a color scheme (paint will be provided for only one coat)
• Note any specific painting instructions for the assigned team

Repair Recommendations

• Evaluate the home for any repairs that need to be done to the home prior to painting
• Be able to note the extent of the repairs needed and if there are too many for a team to attempt painting

Documentation

• Provide proper documentation to the Committee and Event Manager regarding the recommendations
