I would love to have volunteers of various backgrounds come and spend time with the kids. We currently have 36 after school attendees who are all very bright and spirited young people. They love playing games, being creative, and having fun. We currently have 4 counselors including myself and are looking for some volunteers who would like to come in and lead activities, crafts, games, and help with homework.

Description
This aspect of the Salvation Army in Charleston is aimed at helping our youth in those crucial hours after school and during the summer where they often do not have care. We provide affordable after school care that includes homework help, snack, and a variety of other activities to keep kids safe and out of trouble while parents are working.
