Sprouts Cooking Kids

Sprouts Cooking Club is a nonprofit that teaches kids from all socioeconomic backgrounds what REAL food is all about through hands-on cooking and nutrition classes. We are proud to have the support of Jamie Oliver and the endorsement of Alice Waters on our advisory board!

Sprouts is looking for a culinary or nutritional enthusiast to lead a 60-minute cooking class in Millbrae! This class is a ton of fun, and the kids are always excited to learn new recipes and taste new ingredients! No formal cooking experience is required - just a love for working with kids and trying new recipes! A minimal amount of pre-class prep may be required. One day of orientation and training at our Oakland offices is required.

We focus on simple, delicious and nutritious recipes that allow plenty of room for our aspiring chefs to add their own creative twist! At the end of each class, every child (and you!) will enjoy the recipe that they made!

All skill levels welcome!

Our classes are all held at the JEI learning center in Millbrae . The class will run M-F 12-1pm from July 17th-August 4th. We are looking for instrcutors for one, two, or all three of the weeks.

Email Sophie@sproutscookingclub.org for more details!
