Hello! DogFest Phoenix is currently seeking volunteers to join the planning committee! WE NEED YOU!

What is DogFest and Canine Companions for Independence? Founded in 1975, Canine Companions for Independence is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing expertly-trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships. DogFest is a fully accessible, dog- and family-friendly fundraising walk and festival to support Canine Companions!

Join Our Planning Committee: DogFest Phoenix wouldn’t be possible without the support of committed volunteers. You can get involved in a variety of ways in the planning of DogFest by joining a committee, such as team recruitment, sponsorship, publicity, logistics, entertainment and more! Event planning is starting NOW and will continue all the way up to the event on February 23, 2019! We’ll find a great spot for you and there’s something for everyone!

There are approximately 64 million Americans living with a disability. Canine Companions is a national non-profit organization that provides expertly trained service dogs and a lifetime of follow-up services - completely free of charge - to children, adults and veterans with disabilities so they can lead lives with greater independence.

Headquartered in Santa Rosa, CA, Canine Companions is the largest non-profit provider of service dogs, and is recognized worldwide for the excellence of its dogs, and the quality and longevity of the matches it makes between dogs and people. The result is a life full of increased independence and loving companionship.
