Be a companion for an adult with intellectual and develpmental disabilities in their group home or in the community. You can choose the activity or evnet you enjoy doing with them based on both your likes and dslikes. Maybe you will play games, do a craft, watch a ball game or go for a walk at the local park together or take in a movie or go on a local trip with the home.
Hours are mostly evenings & weekends but are flexible weekly or monthly visits. The goal is to visit reguarly and build a friendship where you are a consistant person in their life.

Since 1961, Hattie Larlham has provided care through community homes and long term care facilities, adult day programs, and employment services.
