We are looking for committed professionals to serve on the Education Committee of a newly forming Christian school that will serve students in grades 5 to 12 in New York and New Jersey. Although the committee serves as a function of our Board of Directors, its members are not members of the Board. Church affiliation or membership is not required for this opportunity.
The Education Committee will be working closely with our Directors of Curriculum and Instruction on the established curriculum, offering critiques, recommendations and resources to ensure that students have the best academic experience. The Committee will also work to ensure that the Schools are in compliance with all applicable State/Federal guidelines and will work with the Evaluation Committee to determine curriculum effectiveness.
The Committee will be convened via conference call and its members will be invited to attend a Joint Committee meeting in New York City on June 15th. The meeting will be held in the Chelsea/Penn Station area of Manhattan.
Candidates with significant experience in education, curriculum development, as well as other areas of human services are strongly encouraged to apply. The Committee will also consider applicants currently in undergraduate studies.
Interested candidates are asked to send a resume and cover letter to kingdomcityfellowship@gmail.com. We will NOT respond to inquiries that come without a resume/cover letter.
