Applications are now open for the USNC-UN Women, San Francisco Bay Area Chapter’s 2017-2018 Board of Directors. This is an exciting opportunity to help spread awareness and raise funds for UN Women programs and initiatives that promote the social, political and economic equality of women and girls across the world.
We are looking to fill the following roles:

VP of Development
VP of Events
VP of Membership
VP of Partnerships and Policy

Requirements:
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- a demonstrated passion for women’s rights
- meet a time commitment of 4-8 hours per week
- attend monthly board meetings

The United States National Committee (USNC) San Francisco Bay Area (SFBA) Chapter develops events and partnerships to educate and engage local communities about global women issues, as well as raise funds to provide key financial support for UN Women programs and initiatives that promote the social, political and economic equality of women and girls across the world.
Description
UN Women, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, works to eliminate discrimination against women and girls, empower women and achieve equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian action and peace and security.
