Volunteer with the ReStore, one of the biggest sources of funding for Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area. The ReStore focuses on re-selling donated items such as furniture, appliances, and building materials. We are looking for dedicated volunteers to organize, clean and maintain ReStore displays in the warehouse space. You will also price items and then stock them on shelves and display areas in the store. Volunteer opportunities are available Wednesday-Saturday and volunteer shifts are typically from 9am - 1pm, 1pm - 5pm, or 9am - 5pm. We are also willing to work around your schedule if none of these shifts work for you. By helping our customers find what they need, you will be helping local families find decent, affordable housing.

We are an interfaith grass roots housing ministry with the goal of eliminating poverty housing. Unwilling to accept the fact that thousands of families live without adequate shelter, Habitat for Humanity challenges and invites individuals, religious organizations, companies, foundations, and other organizations to join in partnership with people who are living in inadequate housing to improve their living conditions.
