The National Center for Creative Aging (NCCA) seeks a volunteer(s) to help the advancement of NCCA's mission & vision. The volunteer should be willing to work up to a minimum four hours each week.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the implementation of the annual national conference
- Research and follow up with sponsors
- Work with vendors and conference attendees to answer any questions they may have
- Write and edit applications, mid and final year reports
- Manage grant process by tracking requirements, due dates and responses
- An understanding of NCCA's mission and vision
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Must also be reliable and punctual
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proofreading experience
- Proactive ability to juggle multiple tasks, manage priorities and time well, and collaborate with others
- Positive and professional demeanor and a flexible, can-do attitude
- Curiosity and a sense of humor and fun
- Interest in learning more about fundraising and event planning and execution
- Enjoys creating and improving procedures and systems
- Has a background in the arts and/or social services
