The San Diego River is a beautiful and valuable natural resource and it needs your help! Trash and debris threaten to clog and pollute our River-be part of the solution and volunteer!
We will be working in Grantville near the Home Depot, removing dumping trash from the River and surrounding area. Please join us as we work to restore this area to its natural condition. Multiply your impact and bring a friend!
No experience necessary and all tools and supplies will be provided. Community service hours may be verified.

Mission Statement
The San Diego River Park Foundation is dedicated to fostering stewardship and appreciation of the region’s namesake waterway. In order to protect and enhance the San Diego River as a place for recreation, habitat, and nature discovery, we are dedicated to engaging people to be stewards of the River and working towards the vision of a 52 mile, river-long system of parks, open spaces, and community places.
Description
We organize many different volunteer stewardship activities each month. River Cleanups, native plant gardening, habitat restoration, volunteer leadership, water quality testing, outreach and education, special event committees, technical committees and more.
