ORGANIZATION: Meals on Wheels Orange County

SeniorServ is looking for a friendly visitor. As a friendly visitor, you visit in the home of the older adult and offer warmth, friendship and understanding. Specifically for this situation, there are things this senior in Wesminster can no longer do, like washing a load of laundry, reaching things from a high shelf, organizing the mail, and sorting through paperwork. A commitment of one to two hours per week is all that is expected, which may not seem like much to you, but it will mean the world to this senior.

As a volunteer you will be a part of SeniorServ, who provides services for over 1,000 homebound seniors in Orange County, to help seniors remain as independent as possible. SeniorServ's mission is to nourish the wellness, purpose, and dignity of seniors and their families in our community. The Friendly Visitor Program is an important part of that mission.
