Global Green is working with over 10 partner cities in Northern and Southern California to roll out food waste reduction and composting programs with apartment buildings.
We're seeking help from one or more volunteers to translate all the materials in Spanish. This would typically involve no more than one hour of work at a time, however, we're seeking to find volunteers that can be available over a longer time period in case the materials need adapting over time.
Additionally, volunteers are also welcome to join us for tenant outreach in the buildings as well.
Global Green is headquarted in Santa Monica, California. Volunteers located in Los Angeles or Santa Monica are preferred.

Description
Global Green has influenced more than $20 billion dollars worth of building construction by encouraging the integration of green building and sustainability practices, and we’ve educated millions of people about climate-friendly solutions through our five annual events, including the green event of the year, our Pre-Oscar Party. Our impact has been felt across the country, particularly in areas affected by disasters such as Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans where we led green rebuilding efforts and continue to provide assistance and resources to local residents.
