The Portland Revels a non-profit arts and culture organization and we rely on the help of hundreds of volunteers throughout the year. For our Christmas Revels performance we are looking for volunteers to help man the gift shop, concessions, be greeters and ushers, help the box office at will call, sell raffle tickets and more. All of our volunteers can see the show for free at the performance they volunteer at or can come see our preview show on December 15th at 7:30 PM

Here's a little about the show:
The music, dance and comedy of the Italian Renaissance come alive in this year’s Christmas Revels. The Doge of Venice, bored with his reign, runs away with a Commedia Dell’ Arte troupe - and zaniness ensues. This show features the beautiful music and costumes of the Italian Renaissance, and features some of the best comedic actors in Portland. Description
Since 1994, Portland Revels has celebrated the seasonal cycle of the year through song, dance, story, and ritual, creating community across generations and cultures. The Revels develops and produces multiple community building music, song and dance events throughout the year including 3 seasonal productions: the Christmas Revels, Children’s Revels and May Revels. There are several unique hallmarks of our activities, events and shows: we provide intergenerational opportunities for music-making; we utilize professional talent and a gifted volunteer chorus in our flagship shows; performances focus on the music and traditions of a particular culture and historical period; and we provide opportunities for audience and community participation.
