Best Buddies Tennessee is currently looking for trustworthy and reliable individuals to become a part of our Citizens Program as peer buddies. The peer buddy will be paired with a buddy (adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities) in a one-to-one friendship where you will have chance to develop a true friendship by communicating and doing activities together. If you have experience in working with individuals with disabilities this is a plus, but it is not required.

Best Buddies is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Description
Best Buddies Tennessee provides opportunites for one-to-one friendships in our Adult Program, also known as the Citizens Program. This program is for adults 18 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to be matched in a friendship with someone without IDD. These friendships are rewarding for both individuals and grow into something special and genuine.
