Team GUTS & First Tee of Greater Detroit are hosting a 4-day golf clinic for special needs at GUTS Training Center in Ferndale. The clinic will run on Monday's starting March 13, March 20, March 27 & April 3. Each clinic will run for 1 hour; 5:15pm-6:15pm. We are looking for volunteers to assist with each participant. You don't have to be a golfer to volunteer.

Mission Statement
Team GUTS™ is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the special needs community through year-round fitness and athletic programs. While there is no shortage of programs centered on physical, speech and occupational therapy, fitness options for the special needs community are virtually nonexistent. Team GUTS will offer programs designed specifically for the special needs community, including one-on-one training, fitness classes, dance, ballet, sports camps, strength training, yoga, Zumba, as well as organized team sports like soccer, football, baseball, and cheerleading.
Description
Our culture at Team GUTS(tm) is simple; we are all individuals first and foremost and, secondarily, we are individuals with special needs. That being said, we should all have the same opportunities to improve our quality of life by improving our level of fitness.
Without our health, life really doesn’t have much meaning. We all know that life on a relative scale is short. Consequently, to get the most out of our time on this earth, being healthy is essential. This goes for everyone!
