Each year, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh partners with the AARP to offer free tax assistance to seniors and families who make less than $50,000 per year. Volunteers are needed to help answer phone calls and schedule tax appointments. No tax knowledge is necessary, volunteers won’t have to answer tax-specific questions, and training is provided. Volunteers should be able to commit to helping out for a minimum of 2 hours per week, January 20 - February 20, 2017.
