Our inpatient Residence is now open at 1629 Williams Drive in Murfreesboro, TN. We need volunteers to visit patients, as well as assist with administrative tasks. Bring your smiling face and caring spirit to us and we'll be sure your volunteer experience is fulfilling and refreshing. We have a need for assistance at the reception desk to greet family members and visitors. Pet therapy, massage, hair dressing, music, reading aloud, companionship - all these interests are truly welcome! Background screening will be conducted and orientation and training offered monthly. Ages 15 and over welcome.

Description
Alive Hospice has been providing compassionate care and comfort to people with life-limiting illnesses since 1975. We understand that coping with terminal illness presents many challenges (physical and emotional) to both patient and family. Our team of experienced professionals and volunteers are equipped to meet those challeges and believes that no one, regardless of illness, age, or ability to pay, has to die in pain or alone. In addtion to providing hospice services, we also offer grief support to anyone experiencing the death of a loved one.
