Volunteer Social Media Coordinator

The Communications Committee for Art League Rhode Island (ALRI) is seeking a local, volunteer Social Media Coordinator to manage our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Vimeo, and LinkedIn accounts. The position can be fulfilled remotely, but there will be occasional on-site work during events.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage Social Media pages: publish events, post news about members, approve invites, etc.
  • Manage all published content: images, video and written content
  • Develop a social media strategy and implement a proactive process for capturing online reviews
  • Compile reports for the committee
  • Analyze user statistics and report results to the committee
  • Monitor online ratings
  • Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
  • Must have a smart phone for posting to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram during local gallery openings and public programs.
