Volunteer Social Media Coordinator
The Communications Committee for Art League Rhode Island (ALRI) is seeking a local, volunteer Social Media Coordinator to manage our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Vimeo, and LinkedIn accounts. The position can be fulfilled remotely, but there will be occasional on-site work during events.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage Social Media pages: publish events, post news about members, approve invites, etc.
- Manage all published content: images, video and written content
- Develop a social media strategy and implement a proactive process for capturing online reviews
- Compile reports for the committee
- Analyze user statistics and report results to the committee
- Monitor online ratings
- Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
- Must have a smart phone for posting to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram during local gallery openings and public programs.

Based on a vision of moving art out of the gallery and into the community the organization provides workshops, lectures, seminars, and community outreach activities, in addition to its annual exhibition of its professional artist members.
