Sully Senior Center in Centreville, VA is in Need of a Group Discussion Leader about Current Events for 1-2 hours a week. Volunteer must be open-minded and non-biased when discussing politics and religion. He/She must be able to reign in a conversation and keep on topic, while also being able to change the subject and re-direct as needed. All participants are fully independent; although, you must be comfortable working with some folks with memory issues. A staff member will be on hand to assist when needed.

The goal of the AAA is to improve quality of life and promote independent living for older adults. We are a partnership of Department of Family Services, Neighborhood and Community Services and the Health Department.

Our mission is to support older adults and adults with disabilities in a variety of ways. We provide volunteer services to help people to remain in their own homes/communities and improve their quality of life.
