Children's Restoration Network works with over 120 shelters and group homes in metro Atlanta, housing over 3,000 kids. Most of these homes have either very old or no computers. This is a severe disadvantage to these kids in the academic competition with their peers, most of whom have the latest and greatest computers and a high speed Internet connection. CRN is looking for computers, at least a Pentium III or above, to place in these homes. Monitors, and keyboards, are also needed. We are also looking for people who can set up and install the computers at homes and shelters around metro Atlanta. If you have questions call 770 649-7117 or simply respond to this request.

Children's Restoration Network (CRN) offers hope and support, enabling children and their mothers to break the cycle of homelessness by empowering them to become part of mainstream society as active productive citizens: and through programs and special events designed to address their academic, emotional, and physical needs.
Description
Our vision is to form effective community partnerships to cultivate the restoration of a positive family environment for homeless children. As a non profit agency, our focus is on the plight of homeless children in our community. In addition to meeting basic needs, CRN conducts special events to provide a broad range of positive experiences for the children and their mothers to promote healthy and happy community interaction. Since 1993, CRN has dedicated its efforts to fulfilling its vision and mission statement currently working with over 120 shelters and group homes throughout metro Atlanta. CRN also provides homeless children and mothers with basic necessities such as providing food and subsidizing rent and utilities, for shelters supplementing their food pantries, and providing furniture, housewares and other assistance for families recovering from homelessness.
