AmeriCorps is a unique opportunity to serve your community, earn money for college and develop a lifetime ethic of service. AmeriCorps Members participate in team building activities to empower them to address critical needs in the community. If you want to impact communities, schools and the youth of the Greater New Orleans metropolitan area while earning a college stipend or an educational award, you should consider joining AmeriCorps.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana is seeking passionate, responsible and dedicated individuals interested in helping children succeed and making a difference in young people's lives through the AmeriCorps national service program. As an AmeriCorps members, you will complete a service term as an enrichment instructor at one of our four Boys & Girls Clubs in the Greater New Orleans area. AmeriCorps members help making learning fun for Club members utilizing the proven Project Learn theory and will complete their hours of service by focusing on providing homework help, one-on-one tutoring and high-yield learning opportunities within the Boys & Girls Club afterschool program. AmeriCorps members will also lead 3 national service projects at the Clubs.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana operates four Club sites across southeast Louisiana:
- Covington Club
- NFL-YET Club(New Orleans)
- Slidell Club
- Westbank Club(Gretna)
Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana provides after school and summer programs for school-aged youth between the ages of 6 and 18 designed to meet our priority outcomes of Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship and Healthy Lifestyles. We offer programs in five core areas: Education/Career, Character/Leadership, The Arts, Health & Life Skills and Sports/Fitness/Recreation.
