Hello and thanks for reading! We are in need of several volunteers for our event in Pittsboro, NC on November 5. In exchange for your service you will receive a general admission wristband to the festival. Specific areas we need help with are:
First Aid (experience or training preferred)
1 @ 4pm-8pm
1 @ 8pm-12am
Parking (super easy and you get to meet lots of people)
3 @ 2:30pm-6:30pm
3 @ 6:30pm-10:30pm
Security (very laid back, we need your eyes, not your brawn)
2 @ 12pm-4pm
2 @ 4pm-8pm
2 @ 8pm-12am
Stagehand (experience with musical equipment required)
1 @ 4pm-8pm

Trash & Recycling (it's not glamorous, but it's super easy, we supply gloves and a poncho and involves about 15 minutes of actual work per hour)

Description
On Saturday, September 23, 2017, the inaugural Critter Carnival (formerly Furry Friends Festival) will be held at Southern Community Park in Chapel Hill, NC to raise awareness and funds for numerous local animal rescue and rehabilitation charities. From Noon to 7:30pm, a wide variety of first-rate bluegrass, rock and jazz bands will perform alongside amazing aerial silk artists, hula hoopers, stilt walkers, sideshow freaks and more. Many animals will be at the festival for you to meet, including owls, turtles, possums, raptors, snakes, adoptable dogs & more! Tickets and parking are FREE!
