Halloween Tree Banding

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: KEEP DURHAM BEAUTIFUL INC

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Cankerworms love to feast on the leaves of trees which can negatively impact their health. They are also a pest to humans, dropping or dangling from trees from a silk strand, these little green worms tend to end up in your hair & coffee! Tree banding helps protect trees by preventing the female cankerworm moth from crawling up the tree to lay eggs.

Join us to learn more about cankerworms and how we can defend our trees against them! Come in costume for a chance to win prizes and treats.

If you are not going to come in costume, we will provide masks!!
