Volunteer administrative assistance is needed at Charlotte Pediatrics - Steele Creek. Assist front desk registrars and clinical staff by greeting patients and assisting staff with various non-clinical needs including creating absent school notes, retreiving medical records and rescheduling patients.
In addition, Volunteers will round on families in waiting area in order to ensure a positive experience. Position includes the opportunity to read to children in the Well section of the waiting area.
The following shifts are available:
Mondays - 8am - 12 pm
Tuesdays - 8 am - 12 pm
Tuesdays - 12 pm - 4 pm
Thursdays - 8 am - 12 pm
Thursdays - 12 pm - 4 pm
All volunteers must commit to one full year of service and complete Carolinas HealthCare System Volunteer on-boarding process. This process includes application, interview, orientation, Employee Health screening, background check, photo id badge and on-site training.

Atrium Health Pineville, located just south of Charlotte, NC, has undergone an extensive expansion that has transformed the campus into a full-service specialty care medical center over the past five years.

The Volunteer Services team is comprised of 400+ individuals ages 14 - 94! In 2019, they donated nearly 70,000 hours of service in the south Charlotte area.
