The holidays are fast approaching and we are looking for extra help for Saturday November 19th, 2016 from 8:30-7:00pm. Our 2nd annual Elf Walk in conjunction with Christmas On Main St taking place at Union Station and fireworks at dusk iand lighting of historic Baggs Commerative Park is happening and we anticipate a large number of visitors once again.

This all-day event will have needs in:

- floor monitoring/docent,

- program assistance,

- arts and crafts activities

- assisting the front desk

- one individual for answering the phone

- refreshments and kitchen area

- lead a program/activity or have a craft booth*

- monitor games and programs

- guiding people to floors/passing out schedules/answering questions

- maintenance and restock

- cleaning up after

This opportunity is for both individuals and groups. As we are having an Elf theme, volunteers will be asked to dress in fun for the occasion. This is one of the most fun events each year at the Museum! Come help us create a fantastic holiday memory for the children in our area!

The Children's Museum of History, Natural History & Science dba "Utica Children’s Museum" is housed in a beautiful historic building located in the heart of Utica’s downtown Bagg’s Square district. The Museum currently offers approximately 60 exhibits and experiences throughout four floors of play space and is in the process of being transformed into a hands-on, interactive destination that will impact more than 100,000 visitors over the next five years.
