The Woodfield Area Children’s Organization is looking for some able-bodied people to help us pick up food donations and load them into a truck. We already have a small crew, but could stand a few more. WACO has been collecting food all month at various suburban locations. We need help picking it all up.
We meet at the Schaumburg Township Building at 8:30AM and go from there until we’re finished. That’s usually around 3-3:30PM, but the more help we have the quicker it will go. There is lifting involved. If you’ve got a dolly, please bring it with you. We’ll have a big truck, but if you’ve got a van or pickup truck we can use please let us know. We’ll buy you lunch.
If you can help, please let us know in advance so that we can schedule you.
The Woodfield Area Children’s Organization is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Since 1979 WACO has been dedicated to creating positive childhood memories and providing basic needs for children living at or below poverty level in Chicago's northwest and western suburbs. A full 97 cents of every dollar we raise goes to help the kids. Visit our website http://www.waco4kids.org/ or like us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/waco4kids/. By the way, it’s whack-o, not way-ko.
