Veteran Volunteers urgently needed to provide our Veteran patients with companionship, socialization, active listening or simply the gift of your time.

Because Veteran patients respond so well to fellow Veterans, we make every effort to provide this service, when available, to our veteran patients.

The Ideal volunteer needs only to be willing to give their time and attention to a fellow veteran. Orientation and training provided at no cost to the volunteer.

Description

Silverado Hospice goal is to maximize the quality of life through exceptional care and unmatched service. We provide world class care for all terminal diagnoses, 24 hour customer care support, unique programs (Memory Catchers and Essential Oils), as well as pre-bereavement and 13 month post-bereavement support. We go to wherever the patient calls "HOME" serving the entire Dallas/Fort Worth Area without regard to race, color, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability (physical or mental), communicable disease, or place of national origin.
