Overseen by a teacher, volunteers act as a positive role model as they interact with middle school children as a tutor or mentor. Volunteers help students to enhance their acedemic and success-building skills and to build their self-esteem.
Volunteer opportunities take place after school hours and on Saturday at various middle schools throughout Houston.
