Mission Statement
The Society of Gynecologic Oncology’s (SGO) Foundation for Women’s Cancer is dedicated to increasing public awareness of gynecologic cancer risk awareness, prevention, early detection and optimal treatment. Founded by SGO in 1991, the Foundation for Women’s Cancer is a nonprofit organization that also provides funding for gynecologic cancer research and training, as well as educational programs and resources.
Description
For two decades, the Foundation for Women’s Cancer has paved the way for the gynecologic cancer awareness movement. The only national organization dedicated to the eradication of all reproductive cancers, the Foundation offers free educational courses for survivors of cervical, ovarian and uterine cancers in cities throughout the U.S. each year, as well as a plethora of additional resources on its comprehensive, award-winning website, foundationforwomenscancer.org .CAUSE AREAS
