Come help us reomove invasive vegetation and replant native trees and shrubs as part of our ongoing forest restoration project. We're just a short drive from downtown New Orleans, but the forest is a whole different experince! You'll have the chance to enjoy nature in one of the area's last bottomland hardwood forests while helping us improve wildife habitat and restore a valuable recreational area and storm buffer for the community.
Our first planting date is Sat. December 17 with more opportunities coming in Jan and Feb.
Please contact us for more information or check out our website (www.woodlandsconservancy.org) for more updates on planting dates.
