Host visitors to the centuries-old Columbus Chapel imported from Spain by Boal descendants of Columbus in 1909 and the 1809 Boal Mansion containing the original art, furnishings, weapons and tools of eight generations of this important Pennsylvania family. The tour season is May 1 to October 31 annually, with some group tours out-of-season.
Help with special events like the May concert and reception, the Memorial Day festival and the October Columbus Ball.
Help clean up and fix up the site periodically. Help arrange and describe the extensive historic papers.

Description
The centuries-old Columbus Chapel was imported from Spain by Boal descendants of Columbus in 1909 and contains an Admiral's Desk that belonged to Christopher Columbus himself as well as fine European art dating back to the fifteenth century and two pieces of the True Cross of Jesus.
The 1789 Boal Mansion contains the original art, furnishings, weapons and tools of nine generations of this important Pennsylvania family from pioneer days to the present, including a portrait of Judge George Boal, one of the founders of the nearby Penn State University.
