The Friends of Elmhurst Library (FOEL) is looking for a volunteer landscape designer who can help develop a comprehensive beautification plan for the Elmhurst library grounds.
The goal is to create a vibrant and attractive low-maintenance garden that library patrons can use for reading, studying, community meetings or relaxing.
It is most important that the plan result in a garden that is sustainable; easy maintenance by general volunteers with no specialized gardening knowledge should be a main goal of the design.
The time requirements for this position are flexible, but we do want someone with the knowledge, experience, and commitment to make this project a success.
If you're interested, please click "I want to help" above. Thank you for your consideration!
