ORGANIZATION: The ALS Association - DC/MD/VA Chapter

This year is our Chapter's 25th anniversary and what better way to celebrate than by joining us for our largest fundraising event of the year... our DC Walk to Defeat ALS event. This event will be taking place on the Washington Monument Grounds and will attract over 2,000 individuals to walk and raise funds to fight against ALS and help provide free care services andprograms to nearly 700 individuals living with ALS in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.

We are looking for individuals to volunteer their time and skillset to take photography for the day of our event. As well as, videotape elements of our DC Walk to then compose into a 2 minute video to recap the day of our event to share with our walkers and sponsors after the walk concludes. Join us on Saturday, October 29th from 8:00am to 12:00pm to help add a greater excitement and energy to the day of our event. Please contact Brittany Garcia, Senior Event Manager, at bgarcia@ALSinfo.org or (240) 428-9604 for further information.
