About Suncoast Charities for Children

Location:

7015 Professional Pkwy E, Sarasota, FL 34240, US

Mission Statement

These buildings are currently occupied by Children First, Community Haven for Adults and Children with Disabilities, Over the years, Suncoast Charities for Children has provided several grants to the Suncoast Foundation so that necessary repairs and maintenance could be made to these aging campus locations.

Description

Suncoast Charities for Children is a 501(c)(3) that provides funding support to Suncoast Foundation for Handicapped Children, Inc. , which over the years has constructed area facilities valued at over $20 million dollars. These facilities are located in North Port, Venice, and Sarasota and last year provided services to approx. 8,000 special needs children, teens, adults and their families. Net proceeds raised from special events help maintain some of these aging facilities and support special project requests. This is beneficial so that the non-profits occupying these facilities for only $1 per year, can direct their program and service money towards the clients they serve.
