Through Domus Work & Learn, we teach vulnerable, high risk young men and women solid job skills. Our small, raised-bed organic garden is in need of a volunteer crew to help reduce the hours spent on maintenance to increase the hours spent on learning how to grow vegetables and fruit. The project includes weeding, laying down tarp, and spreading gravel on the walkways between the beds. Volunteers must be in good physical condition as the gravel is heavy. If you'd like to forgo a day at the gym and help a great organization, this is the volunteer activity for you and your team.
